EvolveX Technology

Evolve X is a cutting-edge system that combines two rejuvenation technologies to provide rejuvenation for multiple areas of the body. These two modalities work in unique ways, yet they come together harmoniously as one within the EvolveX system. 

Bipolar Radiofrequency 

Bipolar radiofrequency utilizes electromagnetic waves to create a thermal effect, heating the surface of the skin to between 104 and 122 degrees Fahrenheit. On contact, it tightens the area by provoking the renewal of collagen and elastin– two protein-based fibers essential for skin rigidity and youthful stretchiness. Not only will it regenerate these fibers within the skin, but the thermal energy will also cause existing fibers to contract, creating a more taut skin surface. In addition, this dermal heating can also invoke the creation of new blood vessels in the skin, a process called angiogenesis. ⁽¹⁾Finally, radiofrequency begins the process of delayed fat cell lipolysis in which targeted fat cells subjected to heat will die, and the lymphatic system will remove them from the body permanently.

Candidates

Due to its non-invasive nature, EvolveX is suitable for almost anyone, but there are some exceptions. If you have a pacemaker, defibrillator, cochlear implant, or any other electronic implant, EMS may interfere with the magnetic field and cause dysfunction with these devices. ⁽²⁾ If you are pregnant, you should also avoid EvolveX treatments. Ideally, you should be close to your ideal weight since EvolveX treatment will create more substantial and noticeable results.

Preparation

It is a good idea to make sure you are well-hydrated and only eat a light snack before your session. Hydration with electrolytes is vital for muscle functioning and helps prevent cramps from occurring. Having enough water will also allow your body to remove toxins and help speed up the fat-reduction process. Finally, you should shave the treatment areas if you have thick hair at least 24 hours before your treatment. At the office, you should remove all jewelry near these areas. When you come in for your consultation, we will give you more customized instructions for your treatment plan.

Treatment Steps

For each EvolveX session, you will lie down on a comfortable treatment table either on your back or your belly, depending on which areas you would like to contour. Next, your clinician will apply an ultrasound gel to the surface of each applicator that will come in contact with your skin. This gel will help the energies disperse throughout your tissues more evenly. They will then place each applicator in the desired areas, arranging them so that you get the most coverage. Each one is a bit larger than the palm of your hand, so they are versatile for precise treatment. They will secure the applicators with the system’s straps and begin warming up the device. Finally, it will administer EMS, RF, or a combination of both for 30 to 60 minutes, allowing for a hands-free process in which you will simply lie comfortably still. You will be able to read or watch something on your phone in the meantime. You may feel sensations of warmth from the RF, and your clinician will carefully monitor RF levels from the device’s interface to ensure it administers the correct amount. EMS causes involuntary muscle contractions, so the sensation can feel a little strange, but it will not be uncomfortable in any way.

After Treatment and Results
